EXPOSITION
REFLECTION
Are you willing to learn, be tested, and receive correction while your spiritual sensitivity develops?
PRAYER
Father, develop my spiritual sensitivity with humility, courage, honesty, love, and accountability. Give me the courage to step out and the honesty never to pretend. Guard my mouth from exaggeration and from claiming authority You have not given. Make me teachable when I am corrected and gracious when I am wrong. Let every gift You develop in me be governed by love and used to build Your people. Train my senses by use, and keep me faithful in the training. In Jesus' name, amen.
CONFESSION
"My spiritual senses are trained by use. I practice with humility, I welcome correction, and I never pretend."
PROPHETIC APPLICATION
DIGGING DEEPER
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE — Practice describing a spiritual impression honestly without adding authority, drama, certainty, or information God did not give. Write it in one sentence, then read it back and remove anything you cannot stand behind. REFLECTION QUESTIONS 1. Which phrase do you default to — "God said," "I sense," or "I am still praying about this" — and is it honest? 2. When were you last corrected spiritually, and how did you respond? 3. What gift have you stopped exercising because of a past mistake?
