to know intimately, by experience, not merely by information.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLE
Jeremiah at the Potter's House
; 18:1–6
Jeremiah felt too young, too unqualified, and too small for the assignment in his mouth. But God did not introduce Himself as the One who was about to make Jeremiah someone — He revealed Himself as the One who had already known him before the womb. Identity was not a project to start; it was a reality to receive. The same God who later sent Jeremiah to the potter's house had been shaping him on the wheel of intimacy long before the call ever came.
EXPOSITION
REFLECTION
Pause for a moment. Which voices have been louder than the Father's in your life this week? Where have you been performing for an identity God has already given you? Sit with the truth that you were known before you were noticed.
PRAYER
Father, unveil in me the original blueprint You wrote before time. Silence every counterfeit voice. Anchor me in what You have already declared. In Jesus' name, amen.
CONFESSION
"I am known. I am named. I am sent. My identity is not negotiated with the world — it is revealed by the Father."
PROPHETIC APPLICATION
DIGGING DEEPER
- 01What is one label you have accepted that did not originate in heaven?
- 02How would your decisions change today if you fully believed God knew you before He formed you?
- 03Where in your story can you see God 'setting you apart' even before you recognized His hand?
- 04Journal: write a letter from the Father to the version of you that still feels unseen.
