BIBLICAL EXAMPLE

Paul charged Timothy to guard the deposit of sound doctrine and the gift within him (, 14). Mary 'kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart' () long before the world saw her Son's ministry.

EXPOSITION

Not every revelation is for publication. Parathēkē is a deposit—something so valuable it must be guarded before it is displayed. Paul charged Timothy, 'That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost.' Some assignments require protection before they require promotion. We live in an era addicted to announcement. We post before we possess. We platform before we are proven. But Heaven's deposits are seeds, and seeds die when they are uncovered too soon. The womb is dark on purpose. Hidden does not mean forgotten; hidden means protected. Beloved, what God whispered to you in secret is not yet ready for the public square. Steward the secret before you seek the stage. Discernment is required: who you tell, when you tell, and how much you tell. Not every relationship is qualified to carry the weight of what God placed in you. The assignment was never dependent upon your perfection—but it is dependent on your stewardship.

REFLECTION

What has God deposited in me that I have been displaying instead of developing?

PRAYER

Father, teach me to guard what You have deposited. Give me discernment about who hears, who sees, and when to release. Make me a faithful steward of the secret things. In Jesus' name, Amen.

CONFESSION

"I am a faithful steward of Heaven's deposits. I protect before I promote. What God gave me in secret, I will not squander in public."

PROPHETIC APPLICATION

Identify one revelation, idea, or assignment you have been over-sharing. For the next 30 days, take it off social media and out of casual conversation. Bring it only before God and one trusted covenant voice.

DIGGING DEEPER

Stewardship of the deposit requires three disciplines: silence (resisting the urge to announce), study (developing what was given), and submission (bringing it under accountable counsel). Skip any of the three and the deposit erodes before it matures.
